With just four days to go, Sadhvi Pragya releases Sankalp Patra for Bhopal

Days after vision document released by Congress Lok Sabha candidate Digvijay Singh and just before four days to polling, BJP Lok Sabha candidate Sadhvi Pragya Singh also came out with ‘Sankalp Patra’ on Wednesday. She, however, stated that it’s not the complete vision document as more issues suggested by people are yet to be included. Sadhvi Pragya Singh Thakur released ‘Sankalp Patra’ in presence of party leaders including State BJP incharge Dr Vinay Sahasrabuddhe, State BJP Vice President Vijesh Lunawat, Mayor Alok Sharma, MP Alok Sanjar and Hitesh Vajpayee. While interacting with mediapersons, Sadhvi Pragya Singh Thakur said that she will try to go among masses by riding pillion on bike from Wednesday itself. Through riding bike pillion, she will try to strike direct contact with people.
 
Stating that Sankalp Patra is not a reply to vision document of her rival candidate Digvijay Singh, but her vision document is not complete as more issues related to women, children including differently abled children, labourers, students will also soon be included in the vision letter. Interestingly, one chapter of Sankalp Patra also highlights the problems faced by people during the time of Digvijay government. The document dubs Digvijay government era as ‘Bantadhar Yug’ and says that till 2003, Bhopal was in bad shape, craving for basic facilities.
 
At that time, crime was rampant and people faced acute electricity crisis, roads were replete with potholes and there crunch of job opportunities etc. The vision document of Pragya Singh Thakur also highlights various development works done in Bhopal during the time of previous Shivraj government. It says that during BJP’s tenure, beautiful roads were built along with over bridges, fly overs and cable stay bridge. City also got gift of Smart City, Metro work was started, pucca houses were provided to the poor, AIIMS came into existence, developing of Habibganj Railway Station as world class railway station etc. Major points of vision document: n To promote entrepreneurship among youths, loan upto Rs 50 lakh without security. n Efforts for promotion of start up in Bhopal. n Self-help groups to be felicitated for protecting lakes, parks and promoting education. n To ensure benefit of CECIG under ease of living. n To ensure that farmers gets full benefit of Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana.
