Chhattisgarh Cabinet met on Wednesday and approved several significant proposals including preparation of new ration cards for both BPL and APL category, allocation of rice under APL ration cards and expanding facility of free education under Right to Education Act till Class XII.

The Cabinet also approved waiving agriculture loans of farmers having Non Performing Accounts in PSU banks, under one time settlement process. The Cabinet decided to constitute a Cabinet Sub-Committee which would be looking into the complaints regarding fee irregularities in private schools.
