Energy Minister denies MP facing power supply crisis

“Bharatiya Janata Party’s leaders are trying to defame the Congress-led Madhya Pradesh Government by levelling fake charges in the name of failure in quality electricity supply. The fact is that, the number of unscheduled shutdowns and tripping cases are less than previous year throughout the State.
 
 
Power companies have supplied 10 to 15 percent increased electricity in previous six months in the State. BJP leaders are deliberately damaging the electricity infrastructure to defame the Government. Couple of incidents of damaging electricity lines reported in Damoh and Indore showcased the cheap politics of Opposition,” charged Priyavrat Singh, State Energy Minister, while addressing a press conference, on Wednesday.
 
 
State Energy Minister informed that, the State Government is committed to ensure uninterrupted quality electricity supply to the residents in every remote area.
