A team of women software engineers from the city has developed a unique solution for a US-based company, and has contributed to the cause of building a culture of safety and trust among women employees at workplaces. The US-based company was looking for a team of developers to build a solution to report sexual misconduct at workplaces and also a platform for employers/companies to build a culture of safety and trust. City-based Ranium Systems accepted the challenge and developed a unique solution for WeVow.com.

Rita Gaherwar headed the project and solution development. The comprised Vijayshree Saha, Mahima Soni, Aafiya Hanafi, and Rutuja Lutade. As per the press release, WeVow equips organisations to communicate how much they value their people. When people feel cared for and safe, it allows them to be their best. WeVow is designed to give people 100 per cent clarity that sexual misconduct is not tolerated in an organisation.

WeVow membership offers various things including wellness counselling, incident reporting, and a set of comprehensive resources for the organisations to build a culture of safety and trust. The WeVow platform is available for organisations throughout the world. Interestingly, Ranium Systems also has adopted it and has become the first Indian company to partnet with WeVow and commit to the safety, wellness, and value of its people.
