Some may say, his rise is very early. Some may say, he is made Minister by sidelining the other seniors, some may comment he is very close to Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis so he got berth. Keep aside all these comments and have a look at the political career of Dr Parinay Fuke. One may realise, his passion for his work is the major reason why he is made Minister. A Ph.D holder, Fuke is known for completing the task given to him with winning instinct. His vibrancy has always kept him on the front since the day he became Corporator in the year 2007.

It is evident from what he said while talking to ‘The Hitavada’ when asked about the challenge he has ahead is to prove himself as a Minister in a very short period, came his reply, “Life has no value if there is no challenge. Passing with flying colours in an examination studying for the whole year is easy but writing examination on only a month’s study is a challenge and I always like to face such challenges.” “I did not say I am competent but all the senior leaders including of course our beloved Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis reposed faith in me. I did not leave any stone unturned while working,” said Dr Fuke. Dr Fuke became Minister for the first time that too in a short period time after becoming MLC also for the first time. After his entry into Bhandara-Gondia constituency, things started changing.

He took all efforts to gather support for BJP in all six assembly seats of Bhandara-Gondia. When he contested elections of MLC in Bhandara, BJP had a different thought. It was considering to support Nationalist Congress Party (NCP). But Fadnavis took a daredevil decision to bring Dr Fuke, a newcomer to Bhandara. Out of 400 votes to be polled, only 100 were in favor of BJP. But Dr Fuke from day one worked hard and converted maximum votes in favour of him, clinching victory for BJP. Though BJP had to bite the dust in Assembly by-polls as Dr Fuke was in hospital for a month, he started building constituency for Lok Sabha elections after coming out of hospital.

For the last eight months he worked with winning instinct and Sunil Mendhe, Lok Sabha candidate of BJP won the elections by a whopping margin of about 2 lakh votes, which is far better than the last election. Dr Fuke said that he would work hard and meet the expectations and trust shown by Chief Minister. Dr Parinay is the first person of Fuke family who became Minister.
