In support of their demand for security at work place, doctors protested at all the hospitals in State capital on Monday. Doctors gathered at their respective hospitals by holding placards in their hands and raising slogans. They demanded that Government should ensure security for doctors at work place. Doctors gathered outside their offices to discuss the burning issue regarding to safety of them. Doctors went on strike in solidarity with their peer who was attacked in West Bengal recently. Doctors came out by holding banners and placards in their hands.
 
The slogans ‘Justice for Paribaha’ and ‘Save the Humanity’ were written on placards. Some placards also have slogan Doctors Need Protection.’Doctors protested in Hamidia Hospital, JP Hospital, AIIMS etc. Patients who went to hospitals for their check up were hugely disappointed by seeing doctors on strike as inside hospital, there was no one to attend them. However, doctors protest in various hospitals passed off peacefully. At AIIMS, doctors protested by wearing black band on their arms.
