CM meeting with Governor fuels speculation of Cabinet expansion

Chief Minister Kamal Nath’s meeting with Governor Anandiben Patel at Raj Bhawan on Tuesday created sensation in the corridors of politics in State. When Chief Minister Nath went to Raj Bhawan, speculations started about possible Cabinet expansion.

When independent MLAs and MLAs of BSP and SP, who are supporting the Congress government, came to know about the development, they started to fathom that Cabinet expansion is on the cards and they are going to be adjusted in Kamal Nath government.

However, while coming out of Raj Bhawan, Chief Minister Kamal Nath told that Cabinet expansion news is only in media as he is not thinking in this regard. Notably, it is from long time that discussion of Cabinet expansion is being done and it was anticipated that Kamal Nath government may go for expansion after Lok Sabha elections. Hence, when CM went to Raj Bhawan to pay cordial visit to Governor, speculations of Cabinet expansion gained the momentum.
