Court frames charges against accused, trial to start soon

The minor’s rape and murder accused Vishnu Prasad Bamore was presented in the Bhopal District and Sessions Court on Tuesday afternoon where the charges have been framed against him. The accused has been framed under sections 376 (rape), 377 (unnatural sex), 302 (murder), 363 (kidnapping) 364 (abducting in order to murder) and 201 (causing disappearance of evidence of offence) of the Indian Penal Code (IPC). As per prosecution charge has been framed in the court of special judge ADJ Kumudini Patel. Main charges of rape, unnatural sex and murder have been levelled. Trial has been started and it will be speedily completed for the justice.”
 
A day before ADJ Kumudini Patel has extended the judicial remand of 32-year-old accused Vishnu which ended on Tuesday. Manoj Shrivastava was made lawyer for Bamore by Legal Aid Board after all the lawyers of city refused to appear for accused.
 
Bamore’s lawyer Manoj has sought time to argue in the case. The gruesome incident came to fore on June 9 when the 10-year-old victim girl’s body was found in a drain in Mandwa slum area opposite Indian Institute of Forest Management (IIFM) in Nehru Nagar area under Kamla Nagar police station at around in night on June 8. The girl had gone out to buy a gutkha pouch on Saturday evening but when she did not return, her family lodged a complaint with the Kamla Nagar police. The post-mortem report confirmed sexual assault and death due to strangulation.
