PC Sharma accuses BJP of doing pomp show in name of tribals

Public Relations Minister PC Sharma said that former Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan and BJP do the pomp show of being well wisher of SC ST people. During its tenure, erstwhile BJP Government led by Shivraj Singh Chouhan failed in protecting the interests of SC ST people. Addressing mediapersons during the press conference, PC Sharma told that as Jhabua assembly by election is inching near hence BJP has started to talk about tribals.

He claimed that around 3.5 lakh pattas of tribals were rejected by then BJP government. However in its short instinct, Congress government has done better works for tribals. The rate of Tendu leaf collection has been increased. Making an attack against BJP, he referred to Multidimensional poverty index 2018 report published by Oxford University OPHI and told that tribal dominated Alirajpur district is the poorest district of India.
