Head of the Physical Education Department, Bhopal School of Social Sciences (BSSS), Dr Vishal Singh Sengar has started his solo bicycle trip in the Western Gadhwal region amidst Himalayan ranges. He started his journey on June 30 from Rishikesh, crossing Rudraprayag, Karnaprayag and will reach the final destination Kedarnath.

The difficult terrain to be traversed in a bicycle is a marathon task which needs strong determination, physical and mental strength. He is going to manage alone his food and boarding as per the local circumstances. In solo ride nothing is predetermined instead everything depends on the daily situations which make such journeys highly unpredictable and challenging.

An adventure lover at heart, Vishal enjoys the company of nature and he has taken up this feat solely for the purpose of self satisfaction. Earlier, he had successfully accomplished many such adventure trips with causes of social concern.
