Union Minister Nitin Gadkari on Saturday asked party leaders to directly involve with happiness and sorrow of the party workers and work for common people beyond deadlines. “This is the victory of hardwork of the party workers that went into the election,” said Gadkari while applauding determination, perseverance of the party workers. Gadkari was addressing a grand programme organised by BJP’s City and District Units at Kavivarya Suresh Bhat Sabhagruha to felicitate him.
 
Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis, Ramtek MP Krupal Tumane, Minister for Energy Chandrashekhar Bawankule, Mayor Nanda Jichkar, legislators including Sudhakar Deshmukh, Prof Anil Sole, Girish Vyas, Krishna Khopde, Vikas Kumbhare, Dr Milnd Mane, Sameer Meghe, former MPs Datta Meghe, Ajay Sancheti and others were Present on the dais. Gadkari along with his family members attended a music concert of noted singer Nitin Mukesh at the Sabhagruh.
 
Gadkari further assured that he would work for the common people with more determination as the victory came with more responsibility. Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis hailed the performance of BJP in the Lok Sabha elections, saying the works of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and his appeal among the people have worked for the party this time. “The victory is the receipt of the great work done by the Modi government in last five years,” he claimed. He also took potshot at media stating, Gadkari’s victory was sure from the very first day, however, some mediapersons were debating over it.
 
“Gadkari had worked a lot for the nation and Nagpur while working as Union Minister for Surface Transport,” he said. “Nitinji’s term was an action-filled where quite a lot changed for the common man. The face of the Nagpur has changed by him with a large number of infrastructure development projects in the last five years,” stated Fadnavis. After allotment of Ministry of Medium and Small Enterprises (MSME), Prime Minister Narendra Modi has given him responsibility of employment generation for the young India. “Gadkari would fulfill the dream of Prime Minister Modi by boosting employment generation in the country,” Fadnavis assured and wished best luck to him. BJP’s Booth Pramukhs were felicitated in the programme for their outstanding work.
