Shivraj meets parents of deceased Shivam, demands CBI investigation

National Vice President of the Bharatiya Janata Party and ex-Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan met the parents of deceased Shivam Mishra in police line situated in Bhadbhada area of State capital on Thursday. While consoling the parents of Shivam, Chouhan said that he demands CBI probe into the incident which claimed life of Shivam. Notably, Shivam Mishra died in police custody of Bairagarh police station during the intervening night of Tuesday and Wednesday. Shivam Mishra and his friend were taken into police custody after their car smashed with divider of BRTS corridor.
 
Police took Shivam Mishra and his friend to police station where Shivam Mishra died allegedly due to thrashing of police. Family members alleged that Shivam was beaten brutally and died of atrocities of police personnel.Shivraj Singh Chouhan consoled the aggrieved parents of Shivam and told that he will stage dharna at Bharat Mata square on Friday.
 
He assured them of providing justice at any cost.Chouhan later spoke to mediapersons and told that Shivam had met an accident, he had not murdered anyone but instead of taking him hospital, cops beat him mercilessly. He was the lone child of his parents who are Divyang. He demanded that guilty cops should be dealt with iron fist. He added that if the demand of CBI probe and justice to Shivam’s family is not met then the fight will continue long.
