Though the law will take its own course yet considering it as rarest of rare case police and judicial system should initiate for ensuring strong prosecution and harsh punishment subsequently as the minor involved in the heinous offence was merely four days short to complete eighteen years of age, appealed, Mamta Yadav and Avdhesh Yadav, the parents of Shrinkhala Yadav, brutally killed by a minor in one-sided love in Maitri Kunj Bhilai. They also discussed the amendments made in Nirbhaya case for minors from the age category of 16 to little less of 18 years of age if they indulged in heinous offence.
They also appealed Government agencies, social organisations and people in general to come forward for making substantial contribution for spreading awareness among people so that no parents will ever be made to suffer with unbearable pain and irreparable loss. Mamata Yadav and Avdhesh Yadav, the bereaved parents said that it is the matter of grave concerns that before occurrence of heinous offence there were some suspicious activities in the area but none of passersby or residents bothered for rescue of our innocent daughter or even inform police.
Apart from this Shrinkhala Yadav was lying in a pool of blood at the spot but it is pity on part of them that she got medical aid after about two long hours. They observed that based on developments in the case it is enough to conclude that awareness campaign and drives for spreading awareness among people and that identity of informer would be confidential and he would be spared of unwarranted legalities, proved to be inadequate.
They appealed the government agencies and social organizations for ensuring wide spread awareness so that in case of any crime the informer whosoever he or she is, poor or rich would inform police fearlessly. The parents also stated that be anyone of minor age category or major but it is cruelty to follow a girl for four days and brutally eliminate her if she turns down the proposal.
