Deadly assault on PSI by miscreants

A shocking incident of deadly assault has exposed the tall claims made by police having tightened noose around miscreants. On Saturday late night, one PSI returning from a birthday party of his batch-mate at Gupteshwar was assaulted by three miscreants with sharp-edged weapons near Sharda Chowk. In the assault, the Probationary Sub Inspector(PSI) sustained fatal wounds on neck, stomach and back is undergoing treatment at Medical College and Hospital. His condition is reported to be stable. Cops from Garha police station, sensing gravity of the deadly assault, have registered a case under Section 307,34 of IPC against three unidentified miscreants who managed to flee from the spot. Also, the incident was reported to police by Medical College administration.
According to information, yet another incident of deadly assault, this time, on a PSI posted at Police lines, took place on Saturday night around 1.45 am on Sunday near Sharda Chowk falling under Garha police station. About the incident occurred, it is informed that, the injured PSI named as Arun Pal Singh(26) posted as PSI at police lines was returning from Gupteshwar having attended birthday party of his batch-mate Rahul Parmar. On his way home at Adhartal, while passing through Sharda Chowk, he saw three people indulging in dispute. Being a police officer, he stopped at the point and asked them refrain from any further indulgence.
The intercession made by the PSI made three miscreants furious and one of the three, in possession of sharp-edged weapon, assaulted the PSI vehemently with the intention to kill, causing fatal wounds on neck, stomach and back accounting for profuse bleeding from the wounds. The unidentified miscreants, having given deadly blow to the PSI, managed to flee from the spot, leaving the PSI badly wounded and desolate. Autorickshaws passing through the road saw the PSI lying wounded, stopped at the spot and took the injured by a vehicle to Medical College and Hospital.
At Medical College and Hospital, after being admitted in the emergency, the hospital administration informed at Garha police station about the PSI being admitted in the hospital. On being informed, cops from Garha reached the hospital and recorded the statement of the injured PSI. In view of statement recorded, case under Section 307,34 of IPC has been registered against the three unidentified miscreants behind the deadly assault. The injured, having sustained fatal wounds, undergoing treatment, is reported to be stable. Cops having registered case have started a massive search to apprehend the three accused of deadly assault, as further investigations are underway.
