Police raid two spa centres, arrest over two dozen people

Bhopal police raided two massage and spa centres and arrested around two dozen people on Sunday evening. First massage and spa centre was raided at Shyamlla Hills area and second in Misrod area. Around 14 girls, including two from Thailand and around 15 men, have been arrested. They have been booked under PETA Act. In Shyamlla Hills area, police raided Alish Spa and Family Hair Salon and held eight men and six girls.
 
Names of those arrested are Junedh Khan (34), Suresh Kumar Tekchandani (43), Kapil Ramani (44), Rajesh Agrawal (32), Hemant Nagia (32), Sunil Kushwah (40), Osama Khan (19), Umar Ali (22). Of six girls, two hail from Thailand and remaining four are locals. In Misrod, police conducted raid against Bangkok Spa Centre and held six men and seven women. Names of those arrested are Mukesh Shukla (24), Dharmendra Bicharia (38), Suresh (36), Mohammad Ujer (31), Bheru Gaur (29). Of the seven women held, one is from Chhindwara and six are from Nagaland. Police sources said that during raid, objectionable articles were also recovered. Talking to ‘The Hitavada’, IG Yogesh Deshmukh said that police are keeping a close watch on spa centres, roadside dhabas etc to check anti-social activities. Apart from this, police are also checking cases of drunk driving, high-speed driving etc.
