Jabalpur’s Shreya, Mahima bring laurels for MP in shooting

19th Kumar Surendra Singh Memorial Shooting C’ship
 
 
Adding another feather to their victory cap, Jabalpur’s Shreya Agrawal and Mahima Turhi Agrawal clinched a silver and two bronze medals in the 19th Kumar Surendra Singh Memorial Shooting Championship. The national-level shooting championship is being organised at Dr Karni Singh Shooting Range in New Delhi. Representing the Madhya Pradesh team, Shreya clinched a bronze medal in women’s team event and another bronze medal in individual event of 10-metre Air Rifle Junior category. She won team bronze medal with Sunidhi Chouhan and Yana Gupta.
 
Similarly, Mahima Turhi Agrawal along with team mates Surabhi and Chinky Yadav bagged a silver medal in 25-metre pistol shooting team event of senior women’s category. It may be noted that, Shreya Agrawal and Mahima Turhi Agrawal are being trained at Gun for Glory Shooting Academy, Jabalpur. In the 5 years of its establishment, Gun for Glory’s players have won total 21 medals in international shooting competitions and brought name and fame for the State and city throughout the world.
