Work as if every child is your own: Collector Pithode

District Collector Tarun Pithode while appraising the Dastak Abhiyan told the officials concerned that one must carry out the campaign in such a manner as if every child is their own child, only then the goal can be achieved cent percent.
 
He also mentioned that children are supposed to be the future of this nation, hence, the Dastak Abhiyan should be carried out with immense concentration and intensity as prioritising their health is important. In the meeting it was shared that through this campaign, no kid’s health should be left unchecked or untreated and the needed treatment is provided to them. It was also discussed in the meeting that over 2 lakh children will be screened under this campaign within the local district and over 1 lakh children have already been lodged within the portal. ANM and healthcare workers are going door to door and collecting data regarding children’s health.
 
Around 23,000 kids belonging to the district of Narela and Bakaniya gram panchayats have already been screened, a source mentioned in the meeting. Pithode after gathering information from the block medical officers of Phanda and Berasia passed the orders of dismissing two Auxiliary Nurse Midwives (ANMs) due to their negligent behaviour after their department enquiry. He also reflected his discontent and said representatives not meaning to take the campaign seriously should be dismissed after certain proceedings. He also shared that residents of the village and panchayat should be made aware regarding the campaign. Departments working together due to this campaign should have co-ordination and team spirit to make this campaign successful. Satish Kumar S (Chief Executive Officer) along with staff from various departments was present in this meeting.
