13 teachers get notice for dereliction of duty

Collector of Kawardha Awanish Sharan conducted a surprise inspection at five schools on the second day of current academic session, which resumed on Monday, on Tuesday. The District Collector issued warning to thirteen teachers who were absent from their duty. L Dhruv, principal and three teachers of three schools were issued show cause notice.
The teachers Kamalkant and Hemant Sahu were found watching movie during school time. Teacher Premlal Rajak was found eating beetle while teaching. The principal was issued notice for indiscipline in school. Notice will also be issued to the Cluster incharge Susheel Jaiswal for dereliction of duty. Teachers Vinay Soni, Gomti Markande, Ramesh Janghel and Ram Sirmour were also issued notice. Here students were found playing during class timing.
Three teachers of Singhangad Higher Secondary School were issued notice for being absent. K Dhurve was absent since two days, SM Merawi was absent for one day and so was K Thakur and their names were not found in the attendance register during the inspection. Collector Sharan showed his discontent and issued notice to the Principal. Awanish Sharan inspected Rakse, Nirodhi, Bija Bairagi, Mohgaon and Singhangad schools. Mahendra Gupta was present as well.
