Fire breaks out in building 3 of BSP

No one was injured only four employees were trapped inside the building and were rescued safely 
 
PANIC prevailed after fire broke out at Building-3 of Bhilai Steel Plant (BSP) on Tuesday noon. On information, BSP fire fighting squad reached the troubled location immediately and initiated measures for safe rescue of employees trapped inside the building.
 
However, no one was injured in the mishap. According to information, at about 2:15 pm on Tuesday, all of a sudden a fire broke owing to short circuit in power cables inside Building Number-3, located near Main Gate of BSP. It triggered panic in the building with emission of thick smoke as the employees and executives started running out of the building while raising alarm.
 
After information, the well- equipped squad of BSP Fire Brigade Department reached the spot and undertook rescue operation while dousing off the fire. The sources said that only four employees were trapped inside the building and they were rescued safely with the help of ladders from other side of the building. In the mishap power cables in the limited area were reduced to scrap. As per the sources no significant loss was reported due to the mishap. Along with Personnel, Main Medical Post, Drawing and Designing and other offices located in Building Number-3.
