The rainfall on Thursday evening brought down the temperature, which provided great relief to the people suffering due to severely hot weather.

 

 

However, the maximum temperature registered on Thursday was above normal. The low pressure area has been created over the Bay of Bengal in last few days. However, the change in direction of wind has halted the progress of monsoon towards North Central India. Meanwhile, the winds from Arabian Sea are also bringing moisture, which is creating clouds. The south eastern wind is blowing with speed of 7 to 8 km per hour.
