Bairasia police have arrested three out of the total four accused on Saturday who were involved in murder case of a 45-year-old farmer, who was kidnapped on May 24 from his home in Taswariya area in Bairasia and was found dead in Vidisha next day. He was burnt to death before his body was thrown out of the city limits by father of woman with whom deceased’s son has eloped. The deceased’s son had eloped with married daughter of the accused and later, killed him to avenge it. His daughter was married only few days ago on May 12 and was living in Vidisha with her parents.

However, she ran away with a taxi driver Kapil, son of deceased Pappu alias Parwat Singh Vishwakarma on Thursday. Her father Mahendra Singh Yadav knew that she had run away with Kapil, son of Parwat and he wanted to avenge it and bring his daughter home. He thus arrived in Taswariya village with his aides Brajesh alias Govind Yadav, Amit Sharma and Rambabu in a four-wheeler to kidnap him on May 24 when the farmer Parwat Singh was kidnapped. The accused Mahendra Singh Yadav had come to his house in car from Vidisha and asked Parwat to sit in his four-wheeler. He had said that, his son and his daughter are missing and that, they should together hunt for them. As the farmer sat in his four-wheeler, he was taken to Vidisha where he was murdered and then was burnt alive.

Vidisha police, when informed about a body lying in the area, rushed there and spoke to other police stations. The identity of deceased was established when Bairasia police was informed about it. A team then brought the body for postmortem while FIR of murder was registered with Vidisha police. The accused Mahendra Singh was thus booked for kidnapping in Bairasia and for murder in Vidisha.

The girl and the boy, who had eloped, were also found and they told that they had only gone for some excursion. ASP Dinesh Kaushal said, the accused Yadav and his aide were on the run since after the incident and three police teams were constituted to arrest them. However, the accused have switched off their mobile phones so that police could not search their locations. However, on Saturday, based on the tip-off from a police informer, the accused were arrested by police from Dholkhedi of Vidisha district.
