New CEO visits major operation sites in BSP

After assuming the office, Anirban Dasgupta, CEO of BSP visited major operation sites of vital importance in the plant and reviewed production and productivity. He was accompanied by senior officials. According to information, CEO Anirban Dasgupta along with senior officials on Sunday visited all important shops in BSP and personally inspected the production and productivity related activities. He first visited Safety Excellence Center and discussed the safety measures.
He stressed on its adequate implementation for effectively preventing the possibility of work mishaps. He visited various shops of BSP including Rail and Structural Mill, Universal Rail Mill, Bar and Rod Mill, Blast Furnace-8, Steel Melting Shop-III (SMS-III). After taking the charge on Saturday, CEO, Dasgupta convened the meeting and reviewed plant performance.
He also discussed the production status of various shops and he was also given presentation by in-charge officials of various shops in BSP. In the specially convened meeting, Dasgupta reviewed output of various operational units, those commissioned under Expansion Project of BSP and in this connection he was apprised about the progress of other projects. He also discussed challenges ahead and exhorted the officials while assuring all possible support.
