One detained with 13 children after child trafficking tip-off

In preliminary investigation, Durg RPF ruled out any possibility of foul play 
 
Child Welfare Committee (CWC) members in coordination with the district police are further investigating into child trafficking complaint in which one was detained by Railway Protection Force (RPF), Durg team and thirteen children were rescued at Durg railway station on Saturday morning. However in the preliminary investigation RPF, Durg ruled out any possibility of foul play in the matter.
 
According to information, at about 9:40 am on Saturday, after a tip-off, the RPF team led by Purushottam Tiwari, Inspector, RPF, Durg swung into action and took one into custody while rescuing 13 children, traveling in Shalimar Express at Durg Railway Station. In the course of preliminary investigation it was established that all the children were from Purniya district of Bihar state and they along with Mohammed Tajjmul Hussain (39), a resident of Dagaruva village of Purniya district of Bihar were going to Yavatmal district of Maharashtra for getting admission in the Madarsa of the district. After necessary questioning and investigation RPF team handed over the case to Child Welfare Committee members for further investigation.
 
Mohammed Tajjmul Hussain along with thirteen children including Irshad (13), Md Hasnain Raja(10), Ajhar Aalam (12), Kaish (11), Md Razeek (12) , Kaisar Raza (13), Shadab (12), Md Basheer (10), Md Aasad Raza (13), Md Rahman (12), Md Navaz Aalam (12), Murshid (12), all residents of Purniya district of Bihar state, is in custody of Child Welfare Committee members who are further investigating the matter in coordination with the district police. Purushottam Tiwari, Inspector, RPF, Durg informed that as part of investigation RPF officials thoroughly checked the documents and credentials and ruled out any possibility of foul play. The force officials also talked to the parents of children over phone and got it verified from them in the process. However the concerned government agency is further investigating into the matter to ascertain facts beyond doubts, added Inspector, Tiwari.
