Cheating racket of hiring, selling tipper-truck busted in Bhilai

WHILE busting the cheating racket police arrested two and confiscated two Hyva tipper-trucks in Amravati, Maharashtra and Gadak district of Karnataka. The cheating racket of hiring tipper-truck and selling them for illegal gain was being operated by the gang and the police are on lookout for other gang members. Police sources informed that the accused arrested by police were identified as Nasir Khan (50), a resident of Old Hugli, Karnataka and Siraz Khan (35), a resident of Habib Nagar, Amravati, Maharashtra. The police said that as per the complaint lodged by Chandrashekhar Sahu, a resident of Subhash Ward of Mungeli; Shiva Warrior, a resident of New Khursipar, Bhilai had hired a Hyva tipper-truck from him against the monthly rent of Rs 1.9 lakhs for sand and gravel stone transportation.
He also alleged that Shiva Warrior has been missing since one month and the vehicle is in his possession. The police also recorded about twelve more similar complaints and launched intensive investigation to track down culprits involved in the cheating case. The police deployed three police teams and the police officials and personnel while seeking assistance of cyber cell succeeded in zeroing in on the accused. Police sources further informed that in the course of investigation a police team succeeded in tracking down a tipper-truck in Ghadak district of Karnataka.
The investigation revealed that the truck was sold by Nasir Khan while forging chassis and preparing fake documents of vehicles. While the other accused Siraz Khan was tracked down in along with recovery of a tipper-truck from his possession in Amravati, Maharashtra. The police are investigating into other pending cheating cases and are working out all details to nab the culprits. Rohit Kumhar Jha, ASP (City) informed that Shiva Warrior is the kingpin of the gang and presently he is in Raipur jail. With taking his custody on production warrant the police would thoroughly investigate into all pending cases for nabbing all the gang members.
