State Assembly’s Monsoon Session will start from July 8 and will continue till July 29. The notification in this regard was issued on Friday. Assembly’s Principal Secretary A P Singh told that there will be total 15 sittings in which various government and financial related works will be done.

 

The information of resolutions could be given to Assembly Secretariat till June 26. The information of adjournment motion and information under Rule 267 could be given till July 3.

 

This will be the first session of Assembly after Lok Sabha election. Government will try to seek approval to various development works. On the other hand, Opposition BJP will try to corner government on unscheduled power cuts, law and order situation and acute water crisis. Henceforth, Monsoon Session is likely to be stormy.
