Chief Minister Kamal Nath said that action taken against officers-employees for negligence in matters of public welfare should be publicized so that common man come to know about it and also to give a lesson to other negligent officers. He further mentioned that complaints and problems received under the current system should be redressed hundred percent. The Chief Minister Nath was addressing the Collectors in Janadhikar programme through video conferencing at Mantralaya on Tuesday. He resolved problems of 12 people of 10 districts. He asked beneficiaries how much time it took between registration of complaints and their redressal and where delay is caused.

He told the collectors that they should stop the culture of redressal only when complaints are received. They should make a proper service providing mechanism in districts to ensure decline in complaints constantly. He mentioned that accountability of officials involved in delay should be fixed and a booklet on action taken against them should be prepared, so that they should come to know about their responsibilities. Nath expressed discontentment for not providing the amount of drought relief of the year 2017 to a farmer Deendayal Gupta of Tikamgarh. On asking Collector in this matter, he has been informed that an amount of Rs. 55 lakh of 3325 farmers is due in the district.

The Chief Minister also expressed displeasure for not providing scholarship given by the Karmkaar Mandal to Prabhulal Yadav in time. Discussing about the ‘Aapki Sarkar-Aapke Dwaar’ programme with the collectors, Nath said that they should visit any one block and village twice a month to hear grievances of people and redress problems fit for redressal on the spot itself immediately. Moreover, Nath gave instructions to the collectors to send report to the state headquarters every month. No shortage of fertilizers and seeds When the Chief Minister Nath asked about the availability of fertilizers and seeds in districts, collectors informed that there is no shortage of fertilizers and seeds in districts. Nath interacted with the collectors on many issues and issued instructions.

As regard to the enrolment of children in schools under the ‘School Chalein Hum’ abhiyan, he mentioned that we have to ensure that enrolled children should not leave schools due to any reason. In connection to industrial investment, Nath stated that collectors must work with investors in district as their companion and help them. Moreover, as regard to skill development centres, the Chief Minister said that they should assess how many people succeeded in getting employment and in establishing self-employment after the training. Only skill training is not enough. In context to law and order, Nath said that mutual coordination and alertness can bring better control on law and order. Set up own helpline in 3 districts on experimental basis While reviewing the CM Helpline 181, Chief Minister Nath told to establish own helplines in three districts on experimental basis and see the result. Similarly, different helplines can also be set up for each sector. He said that more complaints are received from the districts where the service provider system becomes weak.

Similarly, in the districts where there are minimal complaints, it means that the public has no expectations from the government. Both the situations are not correct, the system of grievance redressal should work from bottom to the top. The Chief Minister redressed complaints like non- payment of procurement of Maqbool of Badnagar block in Ujjain district, .
