Shreenabh Agrawal, a student of Class XI, of Chanda Devi Saraf School and Junior College, has brought another laurel to the city by probably becoming the youngest student to be presenting his research work at Indian Institute of Management (IIM), Indore. His research paper titled “Mahila e-Haat: A Gender based e-Commerce Initiative” has been selected for presentation during the “2019 IIM - NASMEI Summer Marketing Information Systems Conference” going to be held on 26-28 July 2019 at IIM Indore campus. The conference has been organised by Indian Institute of Management, Indore in collaboration with North American Society for Marketing Education in India.

The purpose of his research study was to study the path of idea formulation to execution of the on-line marketplace Mahila e-Haat designed for women entrepreneurs of India by the Ministry of Women and Child Development, Government of India. The second objective was to perform service gap analysis and propose a suitable solution to fill the gap if found. He also wanted to explore the reach of the idea in creating a social impact. Shreenabh believes that the results of his study and the suggestions given through his research paper can be used to enhance the efficiency of the Mahila e-Haat on-line marketplace.

The leading publication house of the world - Emerald Publishing will bring out the proceedings of the conference which will include the abstract of his paper. Though only fifteen years old, Shreenabh has to his credit two books, around 150 published articles, five research papers, a few blogs and also a patent. Shreenabh dedicates the credit of his writing and research journey to his mother Dr Tinu Agrawal who herself is a free lance Research Consultant and runs a Research Centre by the name, ‘Prarambh Advanced Training and Research Centre’ for researchers who wish to publish good research papers and conduct meaningful research. Shreenabh also expresses gratitude towards his School and Raman Science Centre for motivating him to walk on the path of scientific enquiry.
