‘No provision to give honorarium to jobless Vikram award winners’

Sports Minister Jeetu Patwari told that currently there is no provision to give honorarium per month to those Vikram award winner players who have not received Government job. As per General Administration Department’s directive, Vikram Award winner is declared as excellent sportsperson and on their application for Government service, job is given to them. So far, 108 Vikram award winners have been declared as excellent sportsperson and of them, government job has been provided to 80 players. Rest 28 players did not move the application hence government job was not provided to them.
