Gandhiji wanted dissolution of Congress after freedom: Shivraj

Former Chief Minister and Bharatiya Janata Party National Vice President and membership campaign national in-charge Shivraj Singh Chouhan, in a programme at Vijayawada, said that, Mahatma Gandhi, after achieving the objective of independence, wanted closure of Congress, but Pt Nehru did not do so because of his ambition to remain in power and to take credit of freedom struggle.
 
 
Chouhan said that, the defeated people should do hard work, but Rahul Gandhi has given resignation and got disappeared consequently following Congress President Rahul Gandhi the MLAs in Karnataka, Goa, Andhra Pradesh and Telangana are bent on giving resignation. Shivraj Singh Chouhan was on tour during membership campaign in Vijayawada.
 
 
He participated in a programme of the campaign after planting sapling. Later, Chouhan also visited the residences of activists of Jansangh and had meal with them after their honour. Chouhan also participated in the meeting of State BJP office bearers in Guntur and also attended a conference of intellectuals there.
 
 
Chouhan, during membership campaign, said that basic ‘Mantra’ of Prime Minister Narendra Modi-led BJP Government is ‘Sabka Saath, Sabka Vikas and Sabka Vishwas’. He said that, no category will be left untouched in the membership campaign. Party will connect doctors, engineers, CAs, retired armymen, farmers, youths, women with the membership campaign. Chouhan said that, more than 25 lakh members will be connected in Andhra Pradesh.
