Kareli police recover stolen truck, two accused arrested

Kareli police has succeeded in recovering a stolen truck and arresting two accused. Stolen truck was loaded with cement worth more than Rs 40 lakh. Accused were held two kilometre away from Khiria village in Begumganj tehsil of Raisen district. It was on June 30 that Mer Sing Thakur reported to Kareli police that his new truck loaded with 620 cement sacks, worth more than Rs 40.41 lakh has gone traceless and even the truck cleaner is missing.
 
After getting the information, Narsinghpur SP Gurkaran Singh formed teams led by ASP Rajesh Tiwari, SDOP Arjun Lal Uikey, SHO Kareli Naval Arya, etc. The teams were sent to Sagar, Jabalpur, Gadarwara in search of stolen truck. In the meantime, police got the air that stolen truck was seen going towards Begumganj.
 
Acting on tip off, investigating officials started to do checking on Begumganj Sagar road. In the meantime, stolen truck was spotted near Khiria village. Police laid seize to recover the truck. Seeing this, two youths started to beat a hasty retreat and they were arrested after the chase. Accused were identified as Udaipura resident Fussilal Raikwar ( 20) and from his possession, a country-made revolver with one live cartridge was seized. Second accused was identified as Raj alias Rajkumar Kushwah (19) and from his possession, a knife was seized. In this manner, police recovered the stolen truck. ASP Rajesh Tiwari led the entire investigation to crack the case.
