Rains batter isolated parts of State, heavy rains likely

Monsoon system remains active in many parts of Madhya Pradesh. Rains battered isolated places during last twenty four hours. Bhopal witnessed cloudy weather and a spell of drizzling till Tuesday evening. In its forecast, Weather Department predicted heavy rains in sundry parts of State. Weather Department said that heavy rains are likely to lash some parts of Anuppur, Dindori, Umaria, Rewa, Satna, Jabalpur, Narsinghpur, Chhindwara, Seoni, Balaghat, Sagar, Damoh, Sehore, Harda, Betul, Burhanpur, Khandwa, Khargone and Badwani districts. Rains, accompanied by thunder activities, are likely in many places of Jabalpur, Mandla, Balaghat, Narsinghpur, Seoni, Katni, Chhindwara, Rewa, Satna, Sidhi, Umaria, Anuppur, Shahdol, Dindori, Sagar, Panna, Tikamgarh, Damoh, Chhattarpur, Hoshangabad, Betul, Harda, Bhopal, Raisen, Rajgarh, Vidisha, Sehore districts etc. Rains are also likely in some places of Ujjain, Neemuch, Ratlam, Shajapur, Dewas, Mandsaur, Agar, Indore, Dhar, Khandwa, Khargone, Alirajpur, Jhabua, Badwani, Morena, Singrauli districts respectively.
 
The weather conditions are likely to remain same in State. Bhopal will continue to have cloudy weather. As far as Bhopal is concerned then plumes of black cloud hovered over the city and a spell of drizzling tried to drench the city. However, till evening hours there was no substantial rainfall activity in city. Therefore, humidity embarrassed people throughout the day.
 
Even as monsoon season had made foray into state many days back but there is no heavy rains in any part of state so far. The rainfall activities are likely to increase in coming days. Still rivers are yet to resume the flow as state is yet to witness substantial rainfall. Even as rains are conspicuous in many parts but cloudy weather has created pleasant weather conditions.
