Baghel launches Jan Chaupal

IN A BID to hear the grievances of common people, Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel has started the ‘Jan Chaupal’ programme at Chief Minister’s official residence on Wednesday. Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel directly met the people and heard their grievances at his official residence.
 
The Chief Minister sanctioned Rs 11,000 financial assistance to Deepak Gupta of Kawardha and Rs 20,000 to Kamla Bai treatment. Baghel sanctioned Rs 3 lakh financial assistance for treatment of Virajdas Dahiya, who came in contact with electric wire and critically injured in the incident. Virajdas Dahiya reached the ‘Jan Chaupal’ programme and requested the Chief Minister for financial assistance. The students of Prayas Education Society requested the Chief Minister to close liquor shop being run nearby area.
 
The students of Pandit Deendayal Upadhyay Memorial Health Science & Ayush University led by State President Rahul Verma called on Chief Minister Baghel in the Jan Chaupal and apprised the Chief Minister about their problems. Baghel assured the students to resolve their problems at the earliest. The employees of CIDC also paid a courtesy call to the Chief Minister and expressed gratitude for giving benefit of 7th Pay Commission. Hundreds of people turned up in the first ‘Jan Chaupal’ programme and submitted their applications. Agriculture Minister Ravindra Choubey, Forest Minister Mohammad Akbar, Public Health Engineering Minister Guru Rudra Kumar, Raipur Municipal Corporation Mayor Pramod Dubey and MLA Kuldeep Juneja were also present. It may be mentioned that the ‘Jan Chaupal’ programme will be held on every Wednesday.
