Environmentalist Vishwanath Panigrahi from Baghbaraha submitted a memorandum to Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel during ‘Jan Chaupal’ in Raipur on Wednesday and urged him for transforming the much-talked Sky Walk into a Sky Garden.

Panigrahi also presented the Chief Minister some photographs of garden. Panigrahi said, if sky garden is developed and plants like Erika Palm, Mother-In-Law Tang and Moneyplant are planted, there will be reduction in air pollution and temperature. Other plans can be markets, shops, flyover etc. He also showed pictures of Singapore situated Marina Sand Bay Hotel where sky garden is situated on roof top. Chief Minister Baghel was happy with the plan and forwarded the same to forest minister Mohammad Akbar. MLA Kuldeep Juneja was also present on the occasion.
