Under the aegis of ‘Janhit Mahagathbandhan Karmchari Sangathan’, Madhya Pradesh, Bhopal, a number of guest faculties and employees staged two-day protest on Wednesday at Shahjahani Park, raising their delayed demands. Talking to ‘The Hitavada’, Shambhu Charan Dubey, President, Atithi Shikshak Sangharsh Samiti and State President of ‘Janhit Mahagathbandhan Karmchari Sangathan’ stated that, “Sangathan employees are continuously requesting for their demands, including regularisation of guest faculties as per the Vachan Patra for last three months, but no response has been given by the State Government so far.

As a result, the guest faculties and other sangathan employees have expressed resentment over the avoidance by the State Government. Thus, we are staging protest for our demands for two days, including Wednesday and Thursday, in the State capital.” The demands of the guest faculties are regularisation, where the guest faculties should be made permanent on the basis of their departmental examination to be taken on the pattern of Guruji. Besides, the guest faculties, who have been removed through online process in the session 2017-18, should be again recruited on promotional basis in the new academic session instead of keeping the posts vacant.

Former Non-BEd and Non-DEd guest faculties of the academic session 2017-18 should also be made regular by giving training at the State level and two years time relaxation. The process of recruiting and discounting guest faculties in a year should be ceased. Instead, 12 months service should be resumed. Shambhu Charan Dubey also stated that “Rasoimata working in Government Middle and Primary Schools and Anganwadi centres should also be given fixed amount of Rs 10,000 alike skilled workers. Besides, they must also be allotted permanent recruitment. If all our demands would not be addressed, then we would go to request Chief Minister of State on Thursday.”'
