Rungta engineering students fetch big packages campus drive

It is the dream of every youth to secure a lucrative job soon after completing graduation. The students from Engineering Colleges Rungta College of Engineering & Technology (RCET)-Bhilai and Rungta College of Engineering & Technology (RCET)-Raipur run by Santosh Rungta Group in Bhilai and Raipur have proved their mettle by securing job offers in prestigious national and multinational companies during campus placement drives organised at Group’s Bhilai and Raipur Campus.
The companies visited for campus selection, have selected the students from the group’s colleges, considering them as the best choice. This year the highest package received by the students during campus placement drives is Rs 12 lakh per annum whereas average package of placements is 3.25 Lakh per annum. Amongst the Cos. visited during this campus season, five companies offered package of Rs 5 lakh per annum to the selected Rungta students. The highly reputed 75 companies from IT, Telecom, Core and Service Sector like Amazon, Accenture, Cognizant, TCS, Capgemini, Tech Mahindra, SAP Labs, Thermax Limited, Appeal Group, etc. were visited and selected 800 students of Computer Science, IT, ET&T, Mechanical, Electrical and Civil branch of Bachelor of Engineering (BE) from Santosh Rungta Group Engineering Colleges. Apart from this, 1200+ students from other colleges from the state were selected during mega job fair PLACEMENTNAMMA organised by the Group.
Sonal Rungta, Director (F&A) of Santosh Rungta Group informed that Rungta group is committed to provide best job opportunities for the educated youth. There are sufficient job opportunities in industries for engineering students, but the lack of technical and communication skills of the students of our region is the main reason that they were not able to perform better in the competitive job sector. To deal with this problem the group has established a strong Common Training and Placement Department at the campus, where the students are imparted training in Communication Skills Development and Soft Skills Development.
This department facilitates the students with apt guidance round the year and also coordinates the companies for conducting the campus selection. Training is playing a key role in developing industry related required skills in the student and it is the main reason behind the remarkable success of our engineering students during different Campus Selection Drives he added. Chairman Santosh Rungta opined that the resources like academic environment, guidance of highly qualified professors and infrastructure available in the group colleges are the main accelerators of student’s success. RCET is already having certification of government agencies like NBA and NAAC for its excellence.
