DIG Irshad Wali taking stock of security arrangements at Assembly in State capital on Friday. 

As Assembly’s Monsoon Session is to start from July 8 onwards, DIG Irshad Wali went to Assembly and took stock of security arrangements on Friday. He also briefed police personnel deployed in security arrangements. During his visit to Assembly, he inspected check posts and points and asked police personnel to remain alert during duty. He warned that no negligence in duty will be tolerated. Apart from this, he also asked police personnel to strike better coordination among them. If they spot any suspicious objects then they should immediately inform the control room and pass the information to their seniors. Those who accompanied him were SP South Sampat Upadhyay, Chief Security Officer of Vidhan Sabha and Commandant, 7th Battalion, Santosh Singh Gaur, ASP Akhil Patel, Deputy Security Officer and Deputy Commandant, 7th Battalion, Kamal Maurya and other police officials.
