MP Police, FXB sign MoU for skill devpt, capacity building to check crime

With a view to teach skill development and capacity building, the Madhya Pradesh Police DGP Research and Policy Cell signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with an international-level NGO FXB, India Suraksha, New Delhi, on Thursday. Special Director General (Training) Sanjay Rana and the representative of NGO FXB, India Suraksha, New Delhi, at Police Headquarters.

MP Police and FXB will jointly carry out research about how to increase capacity of MP Police for women’s security and how the police working system can be made public oriented. This work will be done on the basis of MoU signed here. Through the research, police personnel will be imparted training to control crime against women and children, to ensure security, to check sexual harassment and crime, human trafficking etc. This MoU has been signed specially for providing special training to investigation officers of police department.
 
Notably, earlier the MoUs have also been signed with Massachusetts University of America, Shefield Helom University, England, National Law University, New Delhi, and prestigious organisation of the country, Tata Institute of Social Sciences(TISS), Mumbai. Besides, training sessions for capacity and skill development are being organised on the basis of MoUs. On this occasion, ADG (Training) Anuradha Shankar, IG (Training) Jitendra Singh, Madhya Pradesh Police Academy, Bhauri’s Deputy Director Vineet Kapoor and AIG(training) Malay Jain, Sandeep Dixit and other officials were present.
