STATE Government officials including engineers of various departments staged demonstration against misbehaviour by public representatives that happened twice in last few days. Government officials came together to record their protest against such act and met with Guardian Minister Chandrashekhar Bawankule, State Minister Parinay Fuke and district collectorAshwin Mudgal and submitted a memorandum to them. Maharashtra Congress MLA Nitesh Rane, who took law into his hands and dumped mud on a government officer over bad conditionof a road.

 

 

The incident tookplacewhenthe groupledby Ranewas inspectingwork on the Mumbai-Goa highway on Thursday. Anotherincident tookplace in Khed of Ratnagiri where executive engineer and deputy engineer were tied with the railing of Jagbudi bridge on Mumbai-Goa NationalHighwaybyagroupwho wereprotestingforthepoorcondition of the road. The officials who protest on Friday demanded to take quick actionagainstNiteshRaneandall culprits of both incidents. In the protest meetingalarge number of officials and engineers of various departments were present.
