Amruta Fadnavis inaugurates community hall at Fetri village

Fetri village on Katol Road that is adopted by Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis under Aamdar Adarsh Gram Yojana (AAGY), has now transformed as a ‘Adarsh Gram’. This adopted village is under constant monitoring of CM’s wife Amruta Fadnavis and now the infrastructure in the village is really like a small city. The village has its own community hall, veterinary hospital, well-maintained roads, well-equipped library, ultra modern school and much more.
 
On Saturday, Amruta Fadnavis inaugurated many such new infrastructures in the village which are really worth appreciable. Fadnavis first inaugurated a Water Treatment Plant (WTP) in the village which was already there to supply water to five villages nearby. The WTP was in a poor condition and it required maintenance. CM provided fund to maintain it and now it got a new look after his efforts. The WTP treats the water of Gorewada lake and it supplies water to 5,000 residents of Chicholi, Fetri, Bodari, Yerla and Gonni villages. In five years, Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis spent Rs 20 crore from Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) Fund and his own fund for development of the village.
 
After his efforts, the village has now its own full-fledged public health centre (PHC), a community hall, a village tank, Gram Panchayat building, Zilla Parishad school, library, garden, play ground and much more. The infrastructure and the facilities available in the Zilla Parishad school in the village are also world class. The school has about 500 students and every one have their own tablets that provided by the administration. Computerised class rooms, e-library and trained teachers make it a modern school like a private schools. Amruta Fadnavis also planted sapling on forest land inside the village during the event. The administration has planted 2,075 saplings during the programme.
 
Fadnavis also interacted with school students and the villages and asked about the facilities they are getting in their village. School students showed banners to spread awareness about plantation. Dr Vikas Mahatme, MP, Rajya Sabha, Sameer Meghe, MLA, Nisha Sawarkar, President, Zilla Parishad, Ashwin Mudgal, Collector, Sanjay Yadav, CEO, Zilla Parishad, Asha Pathan, OSD, Chief Minister Secretariat, Nagpur, P Kalyan Kumar, Chief Conservator of Forest, Kiran Kowe, BDO, Namrata Raut, Dhanashree Dhomne, Sujit Nitnaware, Sunil Jamgade, Prabhakar Uikey, Ashish Ganorkar and other senior officials were present during the programme.
