‘All communities should make efforts to connect new generation with Indian values’

CM Kamal Nath attends mass marriage programme of Mehra Dehriya community in Chhindwara 
 
Chief Minister Kamal Nath said that efforts should be made by all communities to connect new generation with Indian values. He said that it is must because the diversified identity, which has been established by our country in the world, should be preserved and kept strong. Nath was addressing the Mass Marriage programme of Mehra Dehriya community in Chhindwara on Sunday. Kamal Nath stated that India is known in the entire world because of its social, spiritual values and culture.
 
This is our strength too. Despite several pluralities and diversities in our country, the reason behind our unity under the one flag is our values. The Chief Minister said that all the communities need introspection to prevent disenchantment among the new generation. We will have to make special efforts to ensure that the new generation should stick to its roots. Because of the specialties, the entire world today looks towards India. We should maintain this strength as it is essential for strong India. The Chief Minister blessed newly-wed couples and prayed for their bright future in the mass marriage programme organised by the community. Marriages of 185 couples were solemnised under the programme.
 
Moreover, Nath honoured talented youth of the community with citations including Bhavna Dehriya of Tamia of Chhindwara district for scaling the Mount Everest, Om Jagdev for selection in Skating by national committee and Sachin Dehriya for selection in national team of Judo Karate. Moreover, Nath along with other public representatives dedicated a film ‘Betiyaan’ produced on the theme of ‘Beti Bachao-Beti Padhao’ by the former President of Zila Panchayat Sitaram Dehriya. Member of Parliament Nakul Nath, Former Minister Deepak Saxena and members of Dehriya community in large number were present at the programme.
