Combined efforts must to ensure edn to deprived kids: CM

CHIEF Minister Kamal Nath said that we all have to make combined efforts to enrol education deprived children in schools. This is a collective responsibility. He further said that how to secure children’s future is a biggest challenge before us today. Nath was addressing ‘School Chale Hum’ Abhiyan in Chhindwara on Sunday. Nath mentioned that education is essential for prosperity of a country, state and society. Therefore, we all should make efforts to identify such children in our vicinity who are deprived of education and are not able to go to school because of various reasons.
 
It is our social responsibility to encourage such children. He further stated that School Chale Hum Abhiyan has been initiated by the State Government for such children, who are not able to go to school. Moreover, Nath asserted that we also have to face challenge to make the future of children bright after education. He said that new techniques with new perception is being adopted by our new generation. They have many aspirations and dreams.
 
How to fulfill their dreams is also a challenge before us. He mentioned that the State Government is working on several levels for betterment of educated youth of the State. We are working on a goal to ensure employment for every unemployed of Madhya Pradesh. The Chief Minister mentioned that children must keep clearly in their mind that process of education will come to an end at some point but process to gain knowledge will continue till lifetime. He said that he still receives new knowledge on many occasions and this knowledge only help us to progress in life.
 
He told students that they must gain knowledge from wherever they receive it because this only will lead them to the new heights of success. Recalling his days, Nath said that there was limited educational institutions and other resources during that time. Today’s Chhindwara is a most ideal district in the field of academic institutions and resources. New generation must apprise themselves about condition of old and new Chhindwara from their parents and grandparents because this only will help them to participate in efforts to make their district the best. He informed that many steps are being taken in Chhindwara for education, health, employment.
 
Medical Institute has been opened in Chhindwara recently. Now people of this place will not have to go Nagpur for medical treatment; on the contrary, people of Nagpur will come here for medical treatment. Nath further informed that a best university will be established in Chhindwara soon. This district will develop in the form of educational and medical hub in future. The Chief Minister honoured Astha Uikey, who has been selected for admission in nursery under Right to Education Act and Divyang student Pranvi Murjani, who bagged first position in the district in class X examination. He gave free textbooks to Zainab Khan under Free Textbook Distribution Scheme and cycles to Anjali Vanshkar-student of class 6 of Government Girls Higher Secondary School-Rohankalan, Bhoomika Karade of class 9, Khushi Soni of class 9 of Government High School-Bhainsadand, Khushboo Usrethe- student of class 6 of Government Middle School-Sarna and Krishna Kumar Bandewar of Government Middle School-Manegaon under the Free Cycle Distribution Scheme. CM Nath provided L.E.D.
 
TV for Smart Class to Government Middle School-Loniya Karbal. Moreover, Nath honoured police officers and personnel for their best services in finding lost persons and prompt arrest of criminals involved in kidnapping of adolescent girls, human trafficking etc. The Chief Minister and other guests were honoured by presenting books in the programme. Collector Dr Niwas Sharma announced decisions taken by the Chief Minister regarding academic institutions and other development works of Chhindwara district. Rs. 10 thousand for purchase of sports items and Rs. 15 thousand for music equipments in each high and higher secondary school of the district, a set of 200 books for library of each school and science and maths kit of NCERT in each school of the district will be given.
 
Moreover, announcements were made to provide electricity connection and equipment’s in all schools of the district, to give a cheque of Rs 25,000 to Sulochana Kakodiya-winner of Inspired Award for purchase of laptop, one LED TV each in 200 middle schools of the district for enriching students’ knowledge in Maths, Science and English subjects, equipment’s and computer lab for smart class besides construction of auditorium in Government Maharani Laxmibai Girls Higher Secondary School. Member of Parliament Nakulnath, Former Minister Deepak Saxena and students in large number were present on the occasion.
