‘Expedite ongoing developmental works being executed through DPC funds’

Guardian Minister Chandrashekhar Bawankule on Monday directed officials of Nagpur Municipal Corporation (NMC) to expedite ongoing development works being executed through funds provided by District Planning Committee (DPC). He took stock of the ongoing projects and asked for key details as to time frame required for their completion.
The Minister asked for details about new schemes and plans, skill development plans, water supply project status, Dalit localities development scheme etc. Civic officials led by Additional Commissioner Ravindra Thakre provided details about funds utilisation from DPC sponsored schemes. Satisfied with the pace development, Bawankule asked officials to submit full report as to fund utilisation within a period of eight days. He also suggested better monitoring of ongoing projects by the civic body officials who should personally visit each of them.
The feedback report should provide actual details as to status of project, its completion and pending work separately. Site pictures too should be attached. MLA Mallikarjun Reddy, Additional Commissioner Ram Joshi, Superintending Engineer Manoj Talewar, Engineer Wasnik, Education Officer-Mishrikotkar, Assistant Director, Town Planning, Gawande, A Barhate, Zonal Engineer, Hanuman Nagar Zone, M Ganvir, Engineer, Water Works, Banerjee and others were also present at the meeting.
