BMC Commr Datta inspects cleanliness arrangement

Bhopal Municipal Corporation (BMC) Commissioner Vijay Datta took inspection of cleanliness near Bhopal talkies area on Monday. He instructed to slap spot fine on those traders who threw waste of their shop on road. A sum of Rs 7000 was recovered as fine from four traders. Likewise, he also directed to slap fine of those people who instead of throwing household waste in dustbin used public place to dump the waste. He is almost on daily basis visiting various areas during morning hours and taking stock of cleanliness, water supply and street light.
 
On Monday, he took stock of cleanliness and other arrangements at other places including in link road number 3, Nehru Nagar, Sair Sapata, Boat Club, Shyamlla Hills, Kamla Park, Raja Bhoj, Ginnauri, Itwara, Mangalwara, Bharat Talkies, Berkhedi, Jehangirabad etc. During inspection, he instructed for better management of drains and low lying areas where rain water gets accumulated. He also asked citizens to segregate dry and wet waste and help in maintaining the cleanliness of city.
 
In the meantime, he expressed anguish on finding waste on road despite the arrangement of door to door waste collection and directed sub ordinates to fine those who are find throwing waste on roads. On this occasion, he was accompanied by Additional Commissioner Rajesh Rathore, in charge health officer Rajeev Saxena, Assistant Health officer Asif Nazir etc.
