C’garh bids tearful adieu to CM’s mother Bindeswari Baghel

Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel lit the pyre to bid a tearful adieu to his mother, Bindeswari Baghel, at Bhilai-3 Muktidham on Monday. People had started gathering at the residence of Chief Minister at Bhilai-3 since morning for the last glimpse (antim darshan) of her.

The funeral procession started from CM’s residence at about 11 am and went through the streets of Bhilai. Apart from the immediate family, former Chief Minister Dr Raman Singh, Cabinet Ministers Anila Bhedia, Kawasi Lakhma, State President, Vikram Usendi, ADG, Ashok Juneja, MLA Vaishalinagar, Vidya Ratan Bhasin, Inspector General of Police (Raipur) Anand Chhabra were also present at the funeral. Among those who paid their respects to the CM’s mother were Chief Minister of Madhya Pradesh, Kamalnath and former CM of MP, Dijvijay Singh. Leader of Opposition, Dharamlal Kaushik, all cabinet ministers and others were also present. Here it may be mentioned that CM, Bhupesh Baghel’s mother Bindeswari Baghel passed away at a private hospital in Raipur following prolonged illness, on Sunday. She was 78, and undergoing treatment at Ramakrishna Care Hospital for several days.
