Along with distribution and marketing of certified and high breed seeds to farmers, the Madhya Pradesh State Co-operative Seed Federation will produce seeds too. He said that at least one training in a year should be given essentially to the members of the societies. A big part of the budget should be spent on the welfare of the farmers.

Schemes should be implemented in time and budget amount should not be lapsed. Minister for Agriculture Sachin Yadav said that seed societies in large numbers should be linked with seed federation and they should be helped in marketing. He laid special emphasis to provide quality seeds to the farmers. The Principal Secretary Co-operatives and Agriculture Ajit Keshri, Commissioner Cooperative M K Agrawal, Commissioner Horticulture Kavindra Kiyawat and Managing Director of APEX Bank Pradeep Neekhra were also present at the meeting.
