GNES completes 10 years of service

GURU Nanak Educational Society (GNES), the first educational institution to start engineering college in Kalmeshwar area, has completed ten years of its existance. The society runs Guru Nanak Institutions (GNI) that has carved a niche of itselt in a very short span of time. The institution runs Guru Nanak Institute of Engineering and Technology (GNIET) and Guru Nanak Institute of Technology (GNIT) which are affiliated to Rashtrasant Tukdoji Maharaj Nagpur University (RTMNU) and approved by All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), New Delhi. The colleges also have approval of Directorate of Technical Education Maharashtra.
The colleges have also received accreditation of NAAC and have achieved ISO certification. Apart from this, the GNES has also started pre-school Cradle2Crayons in 2016 having play group, nursery, KG-I and KG-II in which addmission are open. GNIET and GNIT has experienced teachers and staff. Both the institutes focus on practical training, self learning and excellent teaching. GNI is promoting formal and informal education among its students through various technical seminars and has also been able to inculcate cultural and values among its students.
The college is well equipped with all modern equipment. It has the highest placement among the RTMNU colleges. Apart from encouraging merit students, the college also focus on encouraging weak students and giving extra attention on them. The college adopts integrated teaching methodology and has ultra modern infrastructure. It has digital library, book bank facility, wi-fi in campus. The students of the college have won many prizes in various competitions. It won prizes various competitions in cities like Indore and other places.
GNIET and GNIT has Computer Science and Engineering, Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering, Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, MBA, M Tech. Power Electronics and Power System Engineering, M Tech in computer Science and Engineering, M Tech in Structural Engineering, M Tech in Heat and Power Engineering. All the academic department are running successfully. Sardar Navneet Singh Tuli, Chairman of the institutions is the guiding force behind the success.
