Women’s role is important in strengthening economy: CM

Chief Minister Kamal Nath said that the women are not only protector of the future generation but they also play an important role in strengthening the economy of the society. He was addressing the gathering at Rakshabandhan Utsav and Mahila Sammelan in Bhind on Monday. He laid foundation stone and dedicated construction works of over Rs 22.12 crore on this occasion. He mentioned that the women along with domestic works should also start domestic business to make the family financially strong. He stated that the women also have major responsibility towards the protection of social values and culture.
 
He said that women should embrace creative attitude in this direction and inspire the coming generation too. Women played important role in formation of new Government in State: Chief Minister Kamal Nath said that the women have played a significant role in formation of the new Government. We had many challenges before us and are constantly overcoming them on the basis of priority. We are getting success too. He further asserted that the loan waiver was a major challenge. We have waived loans of 19 lakh farmers in the last 8 months. An action to waive loan of the remaining farmers has been begun. He added that the government is set to prepare a new agriculture policy to free the farmers from debts permanently. By this, we will also ensure to provide the genuine value of their produces.
 
 
He informed that employment based investment policy has been prepared to provide work to youth according to their capability. Committed to make New Madhya Pradesh: CM Kamal Nath said that we are committed to make a New Madhya Pradesh in the coming time by facing every challenge. Reiterating his commitment for all round development of Bhind district, he said that as regard to the development, the history of Bhind will be changed.
 
He further stated that he will not let down people of this area. The Minister for Co-operative, Dr Govind Singh said that the Chief Minister Kamal Nath does not make announcements but believes in work. Minister for Women and Child Development Imarti Devi stated that the Chief Minister is working at rapid pace to fulfill the promises of the Vachan Patra. Minister for Food and Civil Supplies and Consumer Protection Pradyuman Singh said that soon after becoming the Chief Minister, Kamal Nath first increased the amount of social security pension to Rs 600 and increased the assistance amount of the Mukhya Mantri Kanya Vivah/Nikah Yojana to Rs 51,000. The State is moving forward rapidly towards all round development. MLAs Sanjeev Singh, Rajeev Shukla and Surendra Singh also addressed the programme. In the programme, CM felicitated Divyang Kumar Pooja Ojha. He distributed certificates to the girls under the Laadli Laxmi Yojana. He also observed the Poshan Ahaar exhibition of Women’s Self Help Group.
