Monsoon still active across Madhya Pradesh

Warning of extreme rains and heavy to very heavy rains in many districts 
 
Monsoon continues to remain active in entire Madhya Pradesh. Rains are battering almost all regions of the State. So far, Madhya Pradesh has received more than 25 per cent excess rainfall. As far as Bhopal is concerned then it received 73 per cent more rainfall. Weather Department issued warning of extreme heavy rainfall in some parts of Indore, Dhar, Khandwa, Khargone, Alirajpur, Jhabua, Badwani, Burhanpur, Ujjain, Ratlam, Shajapur, Agar, Dewas, Neemuch, Mandsaur, Hoshangabad, Betul, Harda districts respectively. Heavy to very heavy rains are likely in some parts of Chhindwara, Jabalpur, Mandla, Katni, Balaghat, Narsinghpur, Seoni, Bhopal, Raisen, Rajgarh, Vidisha, Sehore, Anuppur, Dindori, Umaria, Shahdol, Guna, Ashok Nagar, Rewa and Sagar districts. Rainfall and light showers are likely in maximum places of Anuppur, Dindori, Umaria, Shahdol, Chhindwara, Jabalpur, Mandla, Katni, Balaghat, Narsinghpur, Seoni, Hoshangabad, Betul, Harda, Bhopal, Raisen, Rajgarh, Vidisha, Sehore, Bhind, Sheopurkalan, Morena, Sagar, Damoh, Panna, Tikamgarh, Chhattarpur, Indore, Dhar, Khandwa, Khargone, Alirajpur, Jhabua, Badwani, Burhanpur, Rewa, Satna, Sidhi, Singrauli, Gwalior, Datia, Guna, Ashok Nagar, Shivpuri districts etc. In last twenty four hours, rains lashed Udaipura (18 cm), Khandwa (12 cm), Vidisha (9 cm), Ganjbasoda, Deori, Sidhi, Begumganj, Katni, Sardarpur, Burhanpur, Nasrullaganj (6 cm each) respectively. The forecast for Bhopal says that city sky would be cloudy and spells of rains including one or two spells of heavy rains are likely. When spell of heavy rains started to lash the city, night like darkness descended on city, lowering down the visibility level. Weather Department said city recorded rainfall of 33.1 mm. So far, this monsoon season has given bountiful rains in Bhopal.
