BJP holds Ghantanaad protest against Cong Govt

Rakesh Singh leads protest in Bhopal, Shivraj in Vidisha
 
 
BJP leaders and workers protested against Kamal Nath Government at all district headquarters in Madhya Pradesh on Wednesday. This protest titled as Ghantanaad Andolan was led by senior party leaders. In Bhopal, BJP State President Rakesh Singh led the protest. Accompanied by more than five hundreds party workers, Rakesh Singh reached Collector office in an open truck. Rakesh Singh was flanked by other party leaders including Mayor Alok Sharma, MLA Rameshwar Sharma, ex minister Vishwas Sarang etc. A BJP acted like demon Khumbhkaran while BJP leaders played various musical instruments including Ghanta (brass bell) to awake him from slumber. BJP leaders said that State Government is in slumber and they are trying to awake him from the slumber by doing the Ghantanaad Andolan. Heavy police force was deployed to deal with any kind of eventuality.
 
When police tried to stop BJP workers by putting barricades, Rakesh Singh and other leaders pushed aside the barricades and moved ahead. They were immediately arrested by the police. Rakesh Singh told that Congress-led State Government is bent upon to kill the democracy. Government wants to suppress every voice rising against it. But BJP will not come under pressure. He also claimed that government is in slumber like Kumbhkarana and Ghantanaad movement has been done to awake it from sleep. In Vidisha, ex-CM Shivraj Singh Chouhan led the demonstration against state government. First Shivraj Singh Chouhan paid obeisance at famous Ganesh temple and prayed that almighty should give wiseness to government. Later he led the demonstration.
 
He claimed that Kamal Nath government is neck deep in corruption and it is minting money through transfer industry. Government is bothered about illegal mining in state. As a strong opposition, BJP could not see such things. BJP will not sit quite until loot, murder, corruption etc are not ended. BJP National Vice President Prabhat Jha led the demonstration in Sagar. Making a scathing attack on Kamal Nath Government, he said that if BJP keeps the strength to realise the dream of integrated India then it also keeps the strength to remove Kamal Nath Government.
 
Former Lok Sabha Speaker and veteran BJP leader Sumitra Mahajan led demonstration in Indore, MP Vishnudutt Sharma in Chhattarpur, Usha Thakur in Alirajpur, Krishnamurari Moghe in Dewas, ex-home minister Bhupendra Singh in Gwalior, former minister Yashodhara Raje Scindia in Shivpuri, ex-minister Gaurishanker Bisen in Balaghat, BJYM State President Abhilash Pandey in Chhindwara etc.
