CM inaugurates Mukhyamantri Awas Mission (Urban) in Jhabua

Chief Minister Kamal Nath, while inaugurating the Mukhyamantri Awas Mission (Urban) in Jhabua, on Wednesday, said that free residential patta and grant of Rs 2.50 lakh for construction of house will be given to each homeless person in the State. He further mentioned that now every homeless will become owner of his/her house. Residential pattas to 200 landless persons were given in the programme. “Soon we will build such a Madhya Pradesh, in which no individual is required to give application for resolving his/her problems. Problems will be resolved in village, panchayat and district. Instead of announcements, an atmosphere of work culture has already been created,” he told.
 
Economic condition of farmers will be strong: Comparing the last 15 years works with his 8 months in the State, Chief Minister Kamal Nath said that the State Government has adopted the policy of Neeyat and Neeti. He informed that even after getting the state coffer empty, the State Government has waived crop loans of 19 lakh farmers and in the coming time loans of 37 lakh farmers will be waived. Maize farmers have been given a bonus of Rs 250 per quintal. For the farmers who have sold their wheat, an action to make payment of bonus of Rs 160 per quintal is being initiated. Government has started to work on the basis of the Vachan Patra. The amount given for the marriage of poor girls doubled to Rs. 51 000 under the Mukhyamantri Kanya Vivah/Nikah Yojana.
 
Pension of elderly and disabled persons has been increased from Rs 300 to 600. He said that we are starting to bring such a revolution in the field of agriculture, which will strengthen the economic condition of the farmers and they will be free from all kinds of debt. Investors’ confidence in Madhya Pradesh returned: Chief Minister Kamal Nath said that investors have shown interest in setting up industries in the state. The State Government is making every effort to honour the trust of investors. He said that a large number of industries in the state were shut down in the last 15 years. Now this will not happen. He said that he will leave no stone unturned in providing employment to youth and industrial development of the state. The state will create a new history of development.
 
Minister for Tourism and Narmada Valley Development Surendra Singh Baghel, Minister for Public Relations P C Sharma, Minister for Farmers Welfare and Agriculture Development Sachin Yadav, Minister for Urban Development and Housing Jaivardhan Singh, Former MP Kantilal Bhuria and MLA Walsingh Medha also addressed the programme. Dedicates and lays foundation of works worth Rs 30 crore: On this occasion, Chief Minister Kamal Nath inaugurated and laid the foundation stone for development works costing Rs. 30 crore. He gave sanction letters and cheques of more than Rs 323 crore to 64,628 farmers under the Jai Kisan Fasal Wrin Maafi Yojana. Moreover, under the Jai Kisan Samriddhi Yojana, payment letters of Rs 2.86 crore were given to 3,491 farmers. He also distributed gas connections worth Rs 91.32 lakh to 1522 self-help groups, which prepare food under the Muklhya Mantri mid-day meal. The tribals honoured the Chief Minister Kamal Nath by tying a headgear and offering traditional tribal jhuldi and bow & arrow. A basket of corn, the main crop of Jhabua was also present to him.
